Production Handover and Continuity of Support Through Life
Where Reliance undertakes production, once the design is validated and the build standard is fully defined, the project is launched into production with the help of the New Project Introduction (NPI) team. Reliance engineers will ensure that production personnel are fully briefed in any specific assembly and test requirements for a project and are always on hand for support, to ensure that products are fully in line with customers’ requirements. Change requests and engineering issues arising during, or even after, production will always receive appropriate attention from Engineering to ensure that actions are carried out in line with the original project objectives. Spares, obsolescence, project closure tasks and even project re-launches after previous production requirements have been completed will always benefit from engineering input.
